Some physical differences between men and women. Women have shorter head, broader face, less protruding chin, shorter legs, and longer trunk. Women have larger stomachs, kidneys, and livers, but smaller lungs. Women"s thyroids are larger and more active. Women live 7 years longer than men. Boys more likely to be afflicted with genetic disorders like night blindness, hemophilia, glaucoma. Females have better sense of smell, taste, and hearing. Alcoholism twice as prevalent in men, alcoholic women at much greater risk for death from drinking and cirrhosis of liver. Women have higher risk than men of developing diabetes (contributes to endometrial cancer, adult blindness) Heart attacks are more fatal for women. Certain skin cancers more common in men. Men and women rate men"s writing and speech as better . Men score higher on quantitative matters / visual / spatial. Men are more aggressive as a whole / more likely to solve a problem on their own.
