These 3 ideas sets the holocaust apart from other genocides: totally irrational idea that jews were harmful to the human race. No other genocide had been completely based off of myths or hallucinations: intended totality. Anyone with at least 3 jewish grandparents was: other genocides were limited geographically. The holocaust targeted jews all over the world. Attempted to exterminate jews in any country they occupied, or even the ones that they didn"t occupy. Jews anywhere (cid:498)constituted a threat(cid:499) defined as human or not human based off of (cid:498)how much jewish blood(cid:499) each person had (2 jewish grandparents, half jewish considered a jew and was sentenced to extermination.
