Pons face v1: inability to blink as a defense reflex. V2: impaired sensations of pain, touch, and temperature. V3: inability to clench teeth, open mouth against resistance, and move jaw from side- to-side. V3 carries proprioceptors from muscles of mastication nasal cavity mucosa, cornea, and lacrimal gland.
