Formal Commands
❖ Use usted or ustedes – group of people, someone you respect, someone older, etc.
❖ Start with the yo form of the verb in the present tense and take off the final –o
❖ For –ar verbs: add –e or –en and for –er and –ir verbs: add –a or –an
Informal commands
❖ Use w/ friends – we are not going to cover this
