Reproduction: pregnancy confirmation, diagnosis and treatment of reproductive disorders. Ex) ketosis: estrus synchronization programs and timed ai. Nutrition: evaluation of feedstuffs, pasture, and ration. Makes sure animals get the nutrients needed for healthy function: monitoring of water quality, evaluation of milk and milk replacer. Welfare: facilities the animals are kept in, heat abatement, body condition score, lameness. Herd health: clinical evaluation of sick animals.
