Floral scent has been used in many ways. Ancient egypt (2500 bc) sacred rituals and religions. Floral arrangements: lend pleasant aromas to social gatherings, and mask the odor of the crowd. Flowers only allowed for use in church ceremonies. Industrial, victorian era: by hand at home, by machine at factory. Women got to vote in 1921, just felt like adding this.
