You cannot get attached to anything because it is destined to pass away or transform. Siddhartha"s river is changing in every instant, the river is never the same. According to buddhism: we are changing all the time, right down to the cellular level: all life experiences ceaseless change, flux and transformation, 2) interdependence or non-self (inter-being) things. All things that seem separate in something are actually together in it.
