L10 conduct disorders: more severe type of behavioral disorder, repetitive persistent behavior, most kids do have conduct problems, but it is not repetitive and persistent, violates, basic rights of others, age appropriate social norms and rules. Four behavioral groups- basis of diagnosis: aggressive behaviors causing harm to others, non aggressive (property loss or damage, deceitfulness or theft. Aggression: bullying, threatening or intimidating behaviors, often initiate physical fights, use of weapons that cause serious harm, physically cruel to others or animals. Deceitfulness or theft: break into someone else"s house, building or car. Lies to obtain goods or favors or to avoid obligations (con) Stay out late without permission before age 13: run away from home overnight at least twice, truant from school before age 13. Diagnostic criteria: 3 symptoms in 12 months, 1 criterion in the last 6 months, clinically significant impairment, social, academic, occupational, patterns (not isolated antisocial acts) Associated features of cd: misperceive intentions, poor frustration tolerance.
