While some morals are learned; others are developed over time like observations of a person"s culture and world-view. They are rules and principles, like the golden rule: treat others how you would like to be treated. Particular traits or characteristics that develop over time: morality, system of societal norms, values, and rules of action that govern relationships between individual humans, this can also be referred to as a set of morals. Morality can reside within individuals, groups, cultures, or societies. They will vary according to time and place as an individual will act differently when they attend a golf match versus a football game: morality in sport is manifested in teams, sporting communities, individual athletes, coaches, and administrators.
