Climatological needs falls on bottom level of maslow pyramid. You can"t do anything about world climate, but adjust to it by moving to a region that has a climate best suited for one"s needs or make best of existing conditions. Defined: study of climatic conditions within a limited area. And provide shade with panels of cool colored nylon fabric and more: put grass and plants on top of buildings to cool it instead of black roof that makes things harder. Eliminate the extremes of heat, cold, humidity, air movement, and exposure. Can be done by intelligent site selection, plan out, building orientation, and the creation of climate responsive spaces. Provide direct structural protection against the discomfort of solar radiation, precipitation, wind, storm, and cold. Respond to the seasons each has problems and provides opportunities for adaptation. Adjust community, site, and building plans to the movement of the sun. design of living areas should ensure favored light at favored time.
