Document Summary

Highest goal of all human action is happiness. We attain to happiness by developing virtues. People to match your belongings and brag about status to. With friends people are able to think and act. With good friends, it is easier to be virtuous and the other way around. Love is caring for and wishing the best for someone. Can care, but can"t wish best: only wish good and best (good will) Can"t be friends with animals - one sided. Communication (know that we wish each other the best) Do not love for the sake of the other, but for some use for themselves. Wish well for each other by being fair. Someone we love for their own sake. Someone we wish well only for the reason or purpose of happiness. Not going to change level of virtue. Virtue = permanent so friendship = permanent.
