More equitable representation- slightly based on population, population will be better represented (big states-4, medium state-3 small-2 senators) Maintain protection for minority rights: solution 2 national senators: former presidents or vice presidents. Problems: partisan redistricting- this would tackle gerrymandering, representation of the entire population. Increase the number of representatives- to 1,000 members, negotiable, pushes for this because more representatives will represent fewer americans, better touch with constituents, alter electors for electoral college (more in line with popular vote) Benefits: better representation, lesser influence for money.
