By 1700"s , race will determines what you can and cannot do in the society, the labor system slowly processing on. Work in a tobacco field like most of the society. Physical labor in the humidity and unhealthy climate. Luckily, he doesn"t died from any climate from the dangerous environment. He also finds a female companionship, which is difficult to find in jamestown due to its high population of males. Some refers to him as a servant, some says slaves.
