The book will be used for homework assignments and is highly recommended by the professor for any physicist. He will also provide us with his grad level quantum i notes. Mathematical tools will be of great importance: algebra. 1-10 chaps. of mcintyre and 7-11 of rex & thornton (last semester"s. Recommended the feynman lectures as another resource. Schedule for every lecture is posted online on the website. Just like for the previous class, 1 homework will be assigned per chapter due a week after it was assigned.
