The colonization of new england and new france notes. Answer to the question: they had to do a lot of traveling because they had to move from place to place. Also, there was a lot of plague wars happening which divided it. Looking at a spanish colonialism, we want to think about what shapes a colonial society, and think about these things: 1. the climate and geography can affect the colonial society because since it"s a little small, you are going to want to know what type of culture you"re going to be living in. The population can either be too big or too small in a colonial society, you mostly know who everyone is. In a colonial society, economically you want to not only focus on your economic status, but make sure your colony is also in good status. Most of the time, in a colony you would only focus on sticking to one religion as a society.
