Proile of an animal hoarder: wide spectrum, men or women. Young or old: others living in the house. Professionals and white collar workers: most commonly involved animals are cats, followed by dogs. Muliple species in one house is possible: number of animals range from 10 to over 1,000, over 3,000 people afected every year. No it was not something she chose to do, she feels she got put into that situaion.
