Police asked what happened: custody for each statement, lie: probably not in custody, so prob no miranda violation, so prob not suppressed, he"s in his home, not even necessarily seized, admission of shooting, seizure yes. Case #4: d is a prison inmate, brought into warden"s office. Warden asks if one of the guards is smuggling drugs into prison. Probably didn"t feel free to leave warden"s office (seizure) Basics: miranda defines interrogations as questions initiated by the police.
