Defining: intelligence, is an abstract & broad concept, has so many different ways to define it, cannot be directly measured, can indircet measured by studying and comparing the intelligent acts that people perform. Defining intelligence: intelligence: ability or a set of abilities to learn and acquire knowledge to, solve problems, adapt successfully to new situations and to environment. Measuring intelligence: deviation iq: the number that tells exactly how much above or below the average the person scored on the test, compare to others in the same age, ex: iq = 130 means above the average. English: flynn effect: steady rise of iq test scores over decades, the effect of better healthcare, smaller families, better schooling. Thinking: thinking: mental activities associated with processing, understanding, remembering, and communicating, human think in order to reason, reflect, evaluate ideas, solve problems, and making desicions, types of thinking, metacognition, problem solving, creativity, critical thinking.
