It is most of anterior cranial fossa (surface space) The frontal bone contains air filled frontal sinus. Frontal eminence: it is a rounded elevation located on the bone. Sinuses: they are small cavities that have a membrane around them and most are filled with air. Their purpose is to help make the skull lighter, so it makes it easier to keep our head up!
