Document Summary

. 29 = x(a) p^2=. 29^2 (females that are dominant) Evolution isn"t just mere change; it is when some alleles become more common and some alleles become less common. A population (also called a deme) is a localized group of inter-breeding individuals. A population might be the people in ann arbor. Certain variants can be selected for naturally or artificially. Humans have much power over what traits are expressed. All alleles at all loci for all members of the population. Most of the time, we talk about just the alleles for one trait. In a lot of population, not all the members are doing the breeding. The most dominant figure in a certain population may do all the breeding. So it wouldn"t matter what the weaker figures are doing. Genetic structure is the combination of both genotype frequencies and allele frequencies for a specific population. The genotype frequency is the fraction of individuals that have a certain type of genotype.
