Changes in co2 will happen over millions of years most of the time. Not as much co2 is released from plate tectonics. Driving inorganic carbon into the ocean, the carbonate will just deposit on the bottom of the ocean. Plate tectonic can provide us with fresh crops, (map picture) High temperatures, humid environment speed up chemical weathering. A lot of co2 was removed from the atmosphere through chemical weathering. Negative feedback: warmer climate will increase the rates of chemical weathering. Earth"s climate system: these small changes can"t be due to chemical weathering, it is the orbital changes of our planet. Perihelion: closest to the sun, our planet will be closest the end of december/beginning of. January, northern hemisphere in summer (hotter), southern hemisphere in winter (milder) Aphelion: furthest from the sun, end of june/beginning of july, nh in winter (colder), sh in. Still differences between places like florida and alaska, because of the shape of the planet.
