Final exam tuesday dec 13 at 1pm in classroom. Exam will be generally similar to the mid-term. Where do gas hydrates occur? (ocean or land provinces ) Bigger than all other organic carbon in the surface. There is more carbon in gas hydrates than there is in all the oil and gas and coal deposits in the world. We cant get to them without destroying them. Can tell us about life in extreme environments, can tell us about life on earth and life on other planets. Global warming heats up the low temps and could possibly destabilize the gas hydrates releases methane, which is a greenhouse gas which would warm up the environment even more. Spinning the turbine, which is attached to a magnet, which creates a magnetic field, which produces a current. Off shore requires a different structure, which is more complicated to build. Sometimes the wind doesn"t blow and its inefficient.
