They were called peking man (because the fossils were found near current peking) or ape man (because they resembled apes: the fossils were found in the 1920s. Used stones and made tools out of them. Where did they come from: where did they migrate from and who were their ancestors, when the bering strait was frozen people move from siberia to alaska. Could this be how people originally came to. We still don"t know the origin of the actual. The fossils disappeared during sino-japanese war: cannot continue study of the peking man, only have the information that was collected when they were first discovered. Can"t find link between peking and upper cave men. Other human ancestor: upper cave man: only found 7 fossils.
