The effect of our trading practices on globalization are limited on this fact. Small countries have to trade with other countries to survive economically, while most of the us"s trade is domestic and in our country. The us plays a bigger role in capital markets where it holds about 18% of foreign direct assessment, and it would have more of an impact there.
