Consider one of the various ways people in the arab world have chosen to express their dissent via art (graffiti, photographs, performance, etc. ). Choose a specific photograph, mural, piece of graffiti, performance, chant, etc. , from either the creative dissent exhibit or the an intro to rebel hip-hop of the arab revolutions and rap rage revolt articles. Identify your chosen piece and the dominant opinion/narrative to which you perceive the piece to be responding. The arab world have created numerous creative constructions to display their emotions. Especially dissent towards the oppressive military and government ruling their countries. Art has become a crucial vector to express these crude emotions and people express their pains and opinions through rapping, singing, writing, and most the visually captivating street art. Sounding walls are common street art dotting the cement walls of cairo and other urbanized areas of arab countries.
