In a group some people are more dominant than other: males sort themselves out and females sort themselves out, one hierarchy for man and another for women. Linear: one person at each level, never a tie, and never a rank not filled stable, does not change based on context. If a person is high ranked in one situation, then they are still high ranked in another: more constant for males than females, we overestimate positions and overestimate our friends, source of problems: businesses, etc. Initiation: coalitional reasoning, us vs. them reasoning, humans are flexible in ability to formulate/find new groups, other species have the same groups more typically, us, deep commonality, diverse, them. Individual responsibility: deep difference, similar to one another, collective responsibility. Culture : socially transmitted ideas, shared events, common inferences. Signaling within the neuron: must get a signaling to point a to point b. Intraneural communication: summation, neuron detects all incoming signals and adds them up, result.
