o HPV- usually clears itself up, almost everyone gets HPV
• What is worse for you

o Why is it so terrible to have an STI compared to a cold

will be shocked and perceive it negatively, bc of stigma
▪ Cold u can get from interactions while STI from sex
o Anything with any type of warts is usually HPV
• Irrationality and sexually transmitted infections
• HIV won’t kill u
• People that kill someone by transmitting the swine flu is better than someone who spread
Chlamydia which didn't kill anyone
• Most effective way to not get the flu is to not go out and to sterilize your home, image in
people did this,,, same theory for sex
• Sex is good for u
o Bolster your immune system
o Reduce blood pressure reactivity

• Some say that the best way to never get an STI is to never have sex but they don't say to
never drive
• Life expectancy is the same of general population strait men and gay men with HIV
• There are many stigmas with STIs
• The H1N1 which kills someone vs giving someone chlamydia which they can treat, what
is worse, both people who gave it didn't know they had it, they found that more people
thought the person who gave someone chlamydia was worse than the person who killed
someone from the swine flu
• Those who transmitted chlamydia and caused their partner to need antibiotics were
perceived as
o More risky, selfish and dumb
▪ Than those who transmitted H1N1 and caused the partner to die
• Sex is good for u
