Social/emotional - trust that parents/teachers/etc. are important and are there to take care of them; feel proud that they can do things on their own like brushing teeth and dressing; sometimes very egocentric. Physical - mostly gross motor skills like throwing, catching, and dancing but also quiet play like painting and puppets (@ age 3 child might want to put together puzzle again rather than playing with a ball) Cognitive - tons of thoughts and ideas, making sense of the world, can"t understand other peoples point of view, many can show empathy. Language - have mastered sound with the exception of a few letters, can use plural terms, speak in sentences, know their first and last names o. Physical - better control of muscles, fine motor skills much better.
