Magic is inseparable from the azande society. It is very easy for outsiders to go into a society and pull out differences from their everyday lives and call them magic. Causality magic is a supplementary way of explaining causality. How all elements come together in the right way to cause something to happen. Magic is an explanation for why things are random. Unfortunate events things that elicit an emotional response. Witchcraft is considered an uncontrollable/unconscious thing that is within people that tends to harm other people or affect other people based on your emotions. Drinking water and spitting it out is a way to cooling down the witchcraft inside of you. Examples: talking about sex in the wrong context or in the wrong environment; hostile magic; asking someone how old they are; incest; eating pets. (taboos are typically things we don"t talk about normally in public)
