Ex: sticking your hand in 100 degrees celsius water will burn your hand because the water has a lot of energy built up due to its high thermal capacity. Meanwhile, if you stick your hand on tinfoil that is 400 degrees celsius, your hand will not burn because there is not a lot of energy in tin foil. On average, the ocean water is about 3800 meters deep, or 4km. A little change in temperature in water will increase the heat of the world greatly. The axis of rotation is tilted at 23. 5 degrees.
