Preoperational stage: builds on schemas from previous stage, rudimentary language and thinking skills 2-7 yrs. Intuitive stage: 5-7 yrs children realize that thinking something does not make it so. Preconceptual stage: 2-5 yrs, play, language and symbols, words have power.
