The field of vision is the area that can be seen without moving the eyes. Peripheral vision is the area outside the field in the lateral (side-to-side) and vertical (up and down) directions. Figure-ground perception is the ability to distinguish an object from the background. It is aided by familiarity with the objects and/or environment. Kinesthetic: kinesthetic is the ability to sense the position of your body and limbs in space.
