Since it is a wealthy area, the people in this county can afford healthcare so they are getting screened more often. Alcohol significantly increases your chances for breast cancer. Hormone replacement therapy (many women got this after menopause). The cycling of hormones going up and down causes breast cancer. Women who wait longer increases the chances of breast cancer. The most common types: case-control studies and cohort studies . Experimental studies : randomized control trial, done to test a preventative or therapeutic regimen or diagnostic procedure. Aims to remove the effects of unknown sources of bias. Case-control studies use patients who already have a disease or other condition and look back to see if there are characteristics of these patients that differ from those who do not have the disease.
