Why do people around the world fall under abusive regimes like the. People are scared of the uncertainty of freedom so they submit to an abusive regime. People put their trust in a strong person who claims he can take care of all the people i) The people put their trust in this strong leader, soon he seizes power and the government has a bigger grip on the peoples lives: destructiveness. You just want to feel in control so you lash out at something. It is most effective if it is on a human being or many human beings. Example: the german people destroying jewish shops and homes in the 1930s. Milgram experiment shock experiment that took place in the united states. One person would be ordered to give another person, that they could not see, shocks if they did not answer questions right. It tested obedience, would the person shock another person to the point of death? i)
