Persuasion (why should we have to?: we think people are stupid or misled (if they oppose you) Institutions (why should we wait?: we want results now. We favor demagogues: the law only protects the evil. His death matters because the witnesses will be arrested. He believes the institutions will follow through (unlike dirty harry, who has no faith in institutions) We want the lead to come around and save us. And ask for circumventing of current rules and institutions. Focusing on the result and not the process (?) Talos, a greek g-d of justice without balance, he will go along and take care of things but do not want him to have too much power. There is a gap between justice and reality. People are frustrated by that gap, and the persistence of it. Politics of false consensus leads us to think that people agree but they do not. People do not agree on descriptions of the world.
