Associated with synovial joints bursa are associated with synovial joints. Bursa is a sack full on synovial fluid. Bags of lubricant bursitis inflamed bursa tendon sheath - elongated bursa. Provides stability for synovial joints: articular surfaces fit b/w bones usually not major joint stabilizer. 2) ligaments hold joints together tear at 6% stretch. 3) muscle tone pull of muscle tendons across joint. 3) pivot joint rotation around long axis of bone radius.
