May or may not maintain this action/level of physical activity: may not intend to continue, may not be able to continue. Have participated/engaged in recommended amounts of physical activity for 6 months or longer. People move in and out of these phases. If people jump around from stage to stage, the desired action will not last long. Stages of change explain when people change.
