Thersites-voice of mutiny; odysseus uses scepter of order to beat him back in place to avoid mutiny. Trojan: clamor like waterfowl to indicate poly-alliance, various dialects and different languages being heard, but also indicates disorderliness and how unused to infantry fighting they are because they hide behind the trojan walls.
