Flint, michigan water crisis where the water was privatized and they got water from the flint river where it was cheaper but polluted. Professor encourages students to see how much the language of the economy comes into your life. Neoliberalism is often considered synonymous with globalism. Earlier in the 20th century, if someone had supported neoliberalism they would have been considered insane. Milton friedman is considered the man who authored neoliberalism.
