Can"t think of tourism without thinking about the land and geographical aspect (tourism = geography) The primary attraction (what brought you there) Physical geography- the natural features of the place you are traveling to. Ex: beaches attract one type of person where mountains attract another type of person. If someone doesn"t like the cold they won"t go to the mountains for travel. Locations with sunny and warm winters are in high demand by people from cold, snowy, northern locations. Patterns of demand are associated with tourism movement. British go to france/spain > to get a more desired temperature or weather or sites.
