Passive gene-environment relation: parents contribute both genes and environment. Evocative gene-environment relation: genotypes evoke reactions from environment. Active gene-environment relation: individuals actively seek environments related to genotype (niche-picking) Adults might stress the similarities of identical twins more than those of fraternal twins. Identical twins might perceive themselves as a set and play together more than fraternal twins. Compare children to adoptive parents (environment) and biological parents (heredity) Identical twins who have been separated at birth and raised in diff families. Environment not random - often families are similar.
