Not used anymore because it missed the roles of belief, ahistorical, missed influences on outside pressures. A conceptual framework that sees culture primarily as a symbolic system of deep meaning. It links experiences and meaning in examining cultural activity. Power- is the ability or potential to bring about change through action or influence, either one"s own or that of a group or institution.
