Transverse section- divides person into superior part and inferior part. Extracellular fluid represents the environment our cells are living in. Regulating compositions of extracellular fluid to be right for the conditions of our cells. Homeostasis- keeping conditions stable (not absolutely, cells fluctuate) extracellular conditions. Integrating center- in brain- is this problem big enough. If so, it sends out signals (effectors- something that can solve the problem). You sweat as part of homeostasis and temp regulating (something tells sweat glands to sweat to maintain temperature) this is negative feedback doing what it should. Positive feedback- any change that leads to more desirable change. It"s good for fast changes like a blood clotting situation. Oxygen is an electron hog (electro negative atom). Polar can make hydrogen bond associations with which positive or negative sides do the attract to. Aqueous solution (what makes it acidic and basic) Mole is a large amount ph in moles and whether they are basic or acidic.
