His statue wasn"t as highly crafted and detailed (middle kingdom was a lesser version of the new kingdom: ma"at-the idea of divine order by the gods to keep chaos at bay (represented as winged woman) Mentuhotep admisters things on earth to make sure ma"at is maintaines. Mentuhotep was the righteous embodiment of justice: the weighing of the heart-cerememony where all the deeds in your life are judged.
