If it is lower than expected: could be wrong conception date, If higher than expected: further along than thought, big fetus, multiple pregnancy, polyhydramnios, Prenatal care: the nurse"s role: lab tests. Cbc- particularly interested in hgb (should be at least 11) and hct. 20,000 is normal bc preparing for fixing self.
