Document Summary

Urinal one is the closest to the wall. Observation one: majority of subjects are going to choose to use urinal three. Reflection: most people do not chose the urinal closest to the door, because if that door opens they may be seen by others outside of the bathroom and may feel over exposed. Observation two: two subjects walk into the bathroom and they chose urinal one and three, leaving urinal two vacant. Reflection: the first subject chose urinal three leaving the other subject to choose the urinal furthest away from him, leaving personal space and privacy for other subjects. If the first subject would have chosen, the middle urinal it would have been awkward for the second subject to make a choice. Observation three: the subjects were looking in opposite directions not making eye contact. Reflection: by not looking at each other you avoid being uncomfortable, and putting yourself in awkward situations.
