Document Summary
Addiive color mixing: shining two lights on a surface. Subtracive mixing: using pigments to absorb light o o o. Result: the colors that pass through both ilters (colors common to both) Shining white light through a yellow ilter leaves green, yellow, and red behind. Shining that through a blue ilter that only lets green and blue through, and the only thing let will be green. Stroop efect: reading mismatched color of words is harder than just reading the words if the font is the color of the word. Kanizsa triangle: lines created because our brains come up with explanaions why the lines end for no reason o. Brain has assumpions about the world, and might misperceive certain types of visuals. Gestalt theory: whole is greater than the sum of its parts o o o. Good coninuaion: lines coninue in the same direcion. Occlusion: when one object covers another, we assume the covered object is in the background.
