Dylan looked exactly like what he wanted for the role, vaguer picture for sasha, no picture for clifton: clifton"s character written as latino; mateo not what was pictured though. Dg: comfort level with ks (quickly friends) allowed her to give that performance. Ks: i was in a different room while they filmed the sex scene with clifton & anne. Dg: can only access those emotions and subconscious feelings when you feel safe. Ks: strips everything down & tries to hear the scripted lines in the most monotone way possible: reminds himself that they"re just words -> only one way of communicating. Makes it clearer what the real purpose of the scene is (subtext)
