Dr abdic: 168 auditions for his part (originally written as an indian man) Kb: many directors will cast straight from tape. Tate was more hands-on and wanted to meet people (not all 168 auditions) Had decided on an indian actor for dr. abdic -> actor accepted a leading role in another film -> back to the drawing board. Lm: budget: salary levels for actors -> emily blunt = established = higher pay. Justin theroux believable as the nice guy and the villain. For filmmakers, creating a real world is very important: balanced world of actors/characters.
