Choice-less choice: at normal conditions where people usually make decisions, there is no room for moral compass, no room for asking where is moral choice. Resistance during stage three: 1) judenrat- was the council between jewish people and nazis, intermediate stage no power. Transported form ghettos to death and working camps or hybrid camps. Adam czerniakow he was the leader of judenrat in warsaw, he tried to alleviate suffering of jews. He constantly negotiated and asked for better for the jews. When tasked with a choice-less choice of calling 10,000 jews to go resettle he knew that meant they would die, so he committed suicide to show how he wouldn"t abide by the nazis. When moment for deportations came, mishkin was arrested and killed for organizing resistance. July 28, 1942, 25,000 jews gathered in town square and the current leader told them to run for their lives. Most hated judenrat leaders and was very controversial figure.
